2012: Supernova Review: Asylum Tries to Eat a Buick-Sized Ho Ho

No, really, that’s the simile that best captures 2012: Supernova, The Asylum’s attempt to mockbust 2012 on a shoestring budget, according to this review from Screenhead.  To wit:

“What baffles me, though, is that they try to take on this monster projects [sic] with the most minimalist budgets you can imagine. It’s like trying to eat a Ho-Ho the size of a Buick, and doing it with a knife and fork.”

The next paragraph,which goes into the repetitive disaster/reaction/disaster/reaction progression of the film that stand in lieu of a plot actually sounds more like Armageddon to me, and, I’m willing to bet, the actual 2012.
