Antonio Banderas’ “Spanish Pixar” Finds The Missing Lynx

Antonio Banderas’ shingle Green Moon Productions will release The Missing Lynx in the U.S. in a DVD/Blu-ray combo pack on July 27th.  The film, an animated tale about a gaggle of animals on the run from an eccentric billionaire, won acclaim in its native Spain, taking home the Goya for Best Animation Film.  Banderas told the Latin American Herald Tribune that he hopes the success of  Lynx will put Green Moon on the road to becoming “the Spanish Pixar,” and is delaying a run on Brodway as Zorba the Greek to 2011 in order to focus on building the company.
