Check Out the Cast on Operation: Endgame

Operation: Endgame is what happens when two rival teams of assassins are pitted against each other.  The cast includes Rob Corddry, Emilie de Ravin, Zach Galifianakis, Maggie Q, Ellen Barkin, Ving Rhames, Jeffrey Tambor, and Bob Odenkirk.  The action-comedy, which is currently scoring 6.5/10 stars on IMDb w/ 39 votes tallied, comes out on DVD and Blu-ray July 27th.

Visioneers, Last Cup Hit the Road With Range Life Tour

Here at S2DVD we’re all about the alternative distribution methods.  So how’s about piling in a van and driving  films around the country Scooby-Doo style?  That’s what Range Life does, bringing movies, music, and people you probably would not otherwise have met/seen had they not rolled into town.  Their latest tour begins this weekend, with screenings of Last Cup, Visioneers, and more at Central Cinema in Seattle.  You can find the rest of the tour schedule and list of films on the Range Life site.

Oh, and Zach Galifianikis will be at the Visioneers screening in Seattle.

Zach Galifianakis at the Upright Citizen’s Brigade Visioneers Screening

B-Side has been taking Visioneers from sea to shining sea.  At one of these screenings, held at the Upright Citizen’s Brigade comedy club in L.A. last week, star Zach Galifianakis showed up with director Jared Drake for a post-show Q&A.  The fact that the screening was organized by zachgalifianakis.com might have had something to do with his attendance.

Visioneers Has Landed

So that guy from The Hangover (Zach Galifianakis) was in this movie Visioneers that’s been wowing the festival circuit and has just come out on DVD.  While Zach’s sudden rise to stardom will probably be the main draw, the dystopian dark comedy, um, vision of writing/directing brothers Brandon and Jared Drake is what audiences are talking about.  To the tune of 7/10 on IMDb and a split vote on RT (from only 4 reviewers as of this writing).  Also starring Judy Greer, James LeGros and Missi Pyle.
